One-Time Improvement, Nagpur-Katol Section NH-353J (EPC)

Awarded by the National Highways Authority Of India, Nagpur, this project delivered a comprehensive one-time improvement to the 6.7 km denotified stretch of NH-353J between Nagpur and Katol (chainage Km 7+300 to Km 13+400). NH-353J is a key secondary highway corridor connecting Nagpur city to the Katol tehsil and the wider western Maharashtra hinterland, carrying a steady mix of passenger, commercial, and agricultural freight traffic. The scope covered strengthening of the existing flexible pavement, restoration of shoulders, and repair of drainage assets to arrest monsoon-related edge distress. The work also included renewal of road markings, installation of reflective highway furniture and signage, and maintenance of cross-drainage structures and minor bridges along the chainage. The package was executed on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis, with quality controlled against MoRTH and IRC specifications. By restoring the carriageway to a serviceable, all-weather standard, the project improved ride quality, reduced vehicle operating costs, and enhanced safety for the communities and freight movement that depend on the Nagpur-Katol corridor.
