Overview

Project details

This NHAI project addressed a critical safety need on the Jabalpur-Nagpur section of NH-44. We constructed a pedestrian underpass at Km 685+820, including the associated service road, in the forest section where pedestrian crossings posed significant safety risks. The underpass was built using box-pushing methodology to minimize disruption to highway traffic during construction. The project also included approach ramps, drainage works, and safety installations to ensure safe passage for pedestrians and two-wheelers beneath the highway.
